Terms of Service

1. What CareCircle is

CareCircle is a family care coordination and reminder tool. It helps families schedule medication and routine reminders, record confirmations and check-ins, invite trusted caregivers, and keep a shared history of the care-related information the family enters itself.

2. What CareCircle is not

• CareCircle is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.
• CareCircle does not prescribe, recommend, adjust, or provide advice about medication or dosage. All medication and instruction information is entered by you or a caregiver in your circle, exactly as provided, and CareCircle does not interpret or validate it medically.
• CareCircle is not an emergency monitoring or emergency response service, and it does not contact emergency services on your behalf. In a medical emergency, contact local emergency services directly.
• An unconfirmed task means only that it has not yet been confirmed in CareCircle — it does not necessarily mean a dose or task was missed, and CareCircle does not verify what actually happened.
• You and the other adults in your care circle remain solely responsible for all medical decisions and for taking appropriate action, including in an emergency.

3. Your account and eligibility

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account. CareCircle accounts are intended for adults coordinating care for family members; see our Privacy Notice for how information about children or dependents may be recorded within a care circle by an authorized adult.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use CareCircle for any unlawful purpose, or to enter information about a person you are not authorized to enter information about;
• attempt to access another care circle’s data, or circumvent the access controls that keep circles separate;
• interfere with or disrupt CareCircle’s infrastructure or attempt to gain unauthorized access to it; or
• use CareCircle as a substitute for professional medical advice, emergency services, or direct supervision of care.

5. Information you enter

All medication, routine, confirmation, and measurement information in CareCircle is entered by you or another member of your care circle. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, and for having the authority to enter information about the people you care for. CareCircle stores this information as provided and does not independently verify it.

6. Public beta and service availability

CareCircle is currently in public beta. Features may change, be added, or be removed, and the service may experience downtime, bugs, or data issues as it continues to be developed. CareCircle is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to availability, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We recommend not relying on CareCircle as your only method of confirming that care has been provided.

7. Subscriptions and billing

CareCircle offers paid subscription plans, billed on a recurring basis and processed by our payment processor, Razorpay. Pricing and plan details are shown on the Billing page within the app. Subscription status is confirmed and updated through our payment processor. If you have questions about your subscription, billing, or cancellation, contact support@getcarecircle.site.

8. Termination and account deletion

You may delete your own account at any time from Settings. If you are the account owner, this permanently deletes your entire care circle and its data; if you are a caregiver, you may instead leave a care circle without deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate access to CareCircle for conduct that violates these Terms or applicable law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CareCircle will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any harm arising from missed, delayed, or unconfirmed care, reliance on information entered into CareCircle by you or another user, or use of CareCircle in place of professional medical care or emergency services. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as CareCircle develops, particularly during this public beta period. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of CareCircle after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
